Hear from Kimmie Tomczak, 22, a first-year science teacher at Willow Spring High School in Fuquay-Varina. Tomczak, who attended Broughton High School and N.C. State, is a graduate of the Future Teachers Program. High school seniors who agree to teach in Wake get a summer stipend and training during their college years and a job after they graduate from college.
